Vajiheh Dorostkar

English (higher education program)

Vajiheh first obtained a bachelor's degree in translation and a master's degree in English literature from Azad University in Iran before completing a master's degree in English studies at the Université de Montréal. Her fields of interest and research focus on critical analysis of political and circus arts-related literature. Vajiheh taught English at the Pointe-de-l'Île School Board, then became an instructor of English conversation and business communications at Cirque du Soleil. She has taught English as a mother tongue at the École nationale de cirque since 2012. Concurrently, she is a teaching assistant at the Université de Sherbrooke and an assistant professor in English studies in an internationally oriented economic and commercial context at TÉLUQ, a distance-learning institution.
