Research Ethics Commitee
The National Circus School Research Ethics Committee (NCS-REC) is constituted in accordance with the most recent version of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans and the Institutional Policy on Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans.
The mission of the NCS-REC is to ensure that the dignity of human beings, involved in research activities conducted under the authority or auspices of the NCS, is respected. To this end, the NCS' Board of Directors has entrusted the REC with the responsibility of evaluating the projects in question in accordance with ethical requirements and applicable laws.
