Intensive Summer Camps

In the form of intensive training, summer camps allow participants aged 9 to 17 to experience professional circus arts training in Montreal.  
As a participant, you will be able to acquire and develop yourskills for a whole week at the School, in a unique and safe training facility specially designed for the practice of circus arts. At the end of the week, if you are interested, you will be able to participate in an entrance exam to apply for the Higher Education program (DEC) Circus and High School Studies program or the preparatory program. If you are selected, you will begin your first session at the beginning of the school year in August 2022. 

Program and organisation 

Throughout your stay, you will be able to develop and work on your acrobatic techniques, flexibility, trampoline and physical preparation, while discovering many circus disciplines such as juggling, aerial disciplines, balance, and much more!   
Your stay at the School will end with a presentation where you will be able to demonstrate your new skills.  
Summer camp for 13-17 year olds is offered:   
  • From July 11 to 22, 2022 
Information concerning the camp weeks will be sent to you following the selection of participants by our jury. 
Summer camp for 9-12 year olds is offered : 
  • From July 25 to 30, 2022 
Summer camp attendees may select from two options:
  • Option 1: Day Camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with or without meals)
  • Option 2: Camp 24h/24 The participants are housed in the School's residences or in dormitories. This option also includes meals served at the School. A professional coordinator assumes responsibility for participants 24h/24, from overseeing activities to night-time supervision 

*The 24-hour camp option is maintained provided that the context and government guidelines allow it.


Candidate profile

To participate in the intensive summer camps, you must:   

  • Be between 9 and 17 years old   
  • Be in good physical condition  
  • Already be practicing circus arts, dance, martial arts or acrobatic sports such as artistic or rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, diving, or figure skating.  
  • Have a functional knowledge of French or English.

As the number of camp participants is limited, the School reserves the right to select the candidates.

    *Fees are indicated before taxes for 13-17 years old camps and 24h/24 activities.

    **Taxes not applicable for for 9-12 years old camps (except 24h/24 activities).

    Airport escort service: $ 50 + taxes for each trip.

    Fees are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change.

    Payment of Admission Fees must be made upon reception of the registration contract stipulating that the participant has been admitted to the summer camp.

    These activities are eligible for the refundable tax credit for provincial and federal physical, artisitic and cultural activities.

    1. Register for the intensive summer camp via the Omnivox platform  
    2. Attach the following documents: 

    • A portrait photo, passport size (JPEG format)  
    • A copy of the birth certificate  

    An admission guide will be sent to you following the reception of your application in order to accompany you step by step in the admission process and the realization of the requested elements.

    For participants in the 9-12 years old camp:  
    • A photo in action in your artistic or sports field  
    • Several photos showing your flexibility  
    • One full body photo (standing)  
    For participants in the 13-17 year old camp:  
    • A video demonstrating your acrobatic skills, conditioning and flexibility 
    An admission guide will be sent to you following the reception of your application in order to accompany you step by step in the creation of your participation video.   
    For Canadian candidates wishing to take part in the selection option to enter the  Circus and High School (CES) program, preparatory program or Higher Education program (DEC) in fall*, copies of the official report cards for the last two completed school years and the most recent report card for the current school year will be needed. 
    *Due to the delay to obtain an Acceptation Certificate from Quebec along with a Study Permit from Canada, international candidates whishing to be admitted in one of the School’s CES, DEC or DEE programs have to apply to the Official entrance exam held each year in winter.
