Auditions are one of the last step in the admission process to our Circus Arts program (DEC 561.D0) program or to our Circus and High School studies.

Your participation in the auditions allows us to evaluate your physical conditions and abilities: flexibility, stability, coordination, agility, strength, synchronism, precision of execution, etc. The selection committee will also take into account the originality of your performance, your ability to act and improvise, as well as your specialized skills – circus, acrobatic, sports or other disciplines.

Those selected to participate in the auditions will receive an official invitation by email.

How to register

To register, you must complete the following steps:

  • Apply for admission via the Omnivox platform
  • Choose the appropriate audition*
    • in person – in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver or Paris
    • by video
  • Pay the $50 non-refundable file opening fees
  • Provide the following documents. If they are written in a language other than French or English, they must be accompanied by a certified translation.:
    • Passport-size photo (JPEG format)
    • Copy of birth certificate showing parents’ first and last names
    • Copy of transcript showing successful completion of high school (level equivalent to the Quebec high school diploma), as well as the last year of schooling completed, if applying to the Circus Arts programs.
    • Copy of transcripts showing last two years of successful schooling for application to Circus and High School studies

* Whenever possible, a in-person audition is preferable to a video audition, as it allows the selection committee to better evaluate your abilities.

If your application meets the admission criteria, you will receive confirmation that your file is complete. An official invitation to attend our auditions will then be sent to you by e-mail.
