The NCS Research Ethics Board (REB) is constituted in accordance with the most recent version of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans and the Institutional Policy on the Ethics of Research Involving Humans.
The mandate of the NCS REB is to ensure that the dignity of individuals who participate in research activities conducted under the authority or auspices of the NCS is respected. To do this, the Board of Directors of the latter has entrusted the REB with the responsibility of evaluating the projects in question in accordance with the ethical requirements in force as well as applicable laws.
