It started with a desire for somewhere else, somewhere where everything is still to be written. Everyone got together to build a boat. The problem is that nobody had ever done that before…A hassle? Not really. Clumsily but with a lot of perseverance, they embarked on a ship that doesn’t yet float to build more than just a means of navigation. Sometimes, like here, we discover that a path can be made at a standstill.

Above all, do not waste time doing nothing, flee the emptiness around us for fear that Boredom invites itself there. We relentlessly avoid the visit of this enemy. Fortunately, there are plenty of remedies! Too many?
Everyone has their own strategies.
…I miss being bored…
We decided to go and meet it, to take the time to listen to it, to embrace it and to tame it to see what we had to learn from it. We saw Boredom in color.
It entertained us… a lot!
“Boredom is the pit of life, it was boredom that invented games, distractions, romances and love.” – Miguel de Unamuno

Preamble is the first creative exercise for higher education first-year students at the National Circus School (NCS). This show, which is suitable for the whole family, allows young artists to showcase their circus prowess, to become familiar with working under a big top as well as entertaining the public. Directed by experienced directors, Preamble brings together two short creations that are presented alternately before the annual graduation show presentations at TOHU.
