About the show
Preamble is the first creative exercise for Circus Arts programs first-year students at the National Circus School (NCS). These animations, which are suitable for the whole family, allows young artists to showcase their circus prowess, to become familiar with entertaining the public. Directed by experienced directors, Preamble brings together two short creations that are presented alternately before the graduating students show presentations at TOHU.
Synopsis
Group A – Polyfolie is a whimsical mix of eccentric ideas created to engage and play with the audience. It brings together a series of funny and unexpected situations, sprinkled with delightful touches of circus arts.
Group B – Welcome to FIASCO – 2026 Edition! Is Romeo and Juliet your bedside reading? Do you have the tormented soul of a Hamlet? Do you know every line from A Midsummer Night’s Dream by heart? Perfect! You are invited to the Fair for Lovers of Shakespeare and Dreamlike Circus (FIASCO – 2026 Edition), taking place at TOHU from May 29 to June 6.
Come meet our young artists inspired by the great Will, who will share their passion for the poet’s work through words, movement, and above all… circus arts! It’s a Shakespearean rendezvous you won’t want to miss!
