It was during the 29th fundraising event, held on June 8 at Tohu, that Stéphane Lefebvre, President, and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, announced a donation of one million dollars to the National Circus School (NCS). This is the largest donation ever received in the history of the institution, founded more than 40 years ago. The National Circus School also took advantage of the event to officially launch its major fundraising campaign in front of more than 500 representatives of the greater Montreal business people.
