Driven by dance and gymnastics from an early age, and part of competitive teams in both fields, Chanel began her circus career at the age of 9 at the ENC. As a young girl, Chanel was already a ball of energy. She enjoyed watching television upside down, climbing her bedpan to join her little brother in the other one, climbing kitchen cupboards to help herself, putting on shows for her parents and climbing lampposts in the street. After so many years at the National Circus School, Chanel feels a mixture of fear, pride and excitement at the prospect of finally joining the professional world.
