Training

Artistic Advisor

Johanne Madore, body artist, self-taught and later trained in classical dance, dance-theatre, and contemporary dance, studied dance-theatre at UQAM after beginning in sciences and humanities. She has collaborated with Ginette Laurin, Danièle Léveillé, and Gilles Maheu, performing in numerous international festivals. She has also worked with Robert Lepage, Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon, Dominic Champagne, and Corpuscule Danse. Both performer, choreographer, director, and rehearsal coach, she has created and presented several collective works in Montreal and internationally.

Since 1998, she has collaborated with Cirque Éloize on multiple creations and has served as Artistic Advisor at the National Circus School of Montreal. She further enriches her practice through training in yoga, somatic education, martial arts, and meditation.
