Teacher - Clowning
Rénald Laurin studied dramatic arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal before specializing in physical theatre and clowning at the École Philippe Gaulier in Paris. His first steps in the circus world began at the Centre Immaculée-Conception, and he was among the very first students and instructors at the National Circus School upon its founding in 1981. Over his fifty-year career, he has explored the worlds of circus, theatre, and teaching. As co-founder of DynamO Théâtre, he has collaborated with companies such as Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, Cirque Éloize, and Cirque du Soleil. Having spent much of his life touring internationally, he now continues to pursue his passion for travel and photography.
