Amaurose fugace
Created by Jérémie Robert

Together, we started to play, to pretend we were in danger, to act as if we couldn’t see. What do you gain when you lose something? We blindfolded ourselves to rely on others, to be able to touch more effectively, to listen more attentively, to be vulnerable and true. We blindfolded ourselves to lose and find ourselves again. And together, we discovered the richness of being with someone who has different abilities.

About the show

Preamble is the first creative exercise for Circus Arts programs first-year students at the National Circus School (NCS). This show, which is suitable for the whole family, allows young artists to showcase their circus prowess, to become familiar with working under a big top as well as entertaining the public. Directed by experienced directors, Preamble brings together two short creations that are presented alternately before the annual graduation show presentations at TOHU.
