Auditions are one of the last step in the admission process to our Circus Arts program – Diploma of College Studies (DEC 561.D0), our School Attestation of Studies (AEE),  our Attestation of College Studies (AEC) or to our Circus and High School studies.

Your participation in the auditions allows us to assess your physical condition and abilities: flexibility, stability, coordination, agility, strength, synchronization, precision of execution, etc. The selection committee will also take into account the originality of your interpretation, your ability to play and improvise, as well as your specialized skills in circus, acrobatic, athletic, or other disciplines. We also place great importance on your creativity, motivation, adaptability, and personality, some qualities that are essential to grow and thrive in the world of circus.

Step 1 – Mandatory Video Pre-Audition

New Audition Format in 2025

The introduction of a mandatory video pre-selection for all applicants to the college program replaces the decentralized auditions previously held in Paris, Toronto, and Vancouver. This new format allows the ÉNC to better manage applications from candidates with a real chance of being admitted and to improve the experience of those invited to in-person auditions. The video pre-selection phase, which will run from September 29 to November 10, 2025, will make this first step accessible from anywhere. Selected candidates will then be invited to Montreal in February 2026.

The guidelines will be published when registration opens on September 29.

Step 2 – In-Person Audition OR Additional Video Audition
