Social Worker
Social worker since 2019, Shany has worked across multiple settings to understand diverse realities and build a well-rounded practice. Her experience includes a CLSC (local community service centre), a private medical clinic, the North, arts schools, the community sector, and a therapy centre.
Passionate about meaningful connections, she aims to create an open space for conversation where people can slow down and be welcomed as they are. Along the way, she has developed expertise in the impacts of family dynamics, sexual violence, various forms of addiction, neurodivergence, and trauma.
She currently works at the National Circus School, with the Sexual Violence hotline, and recently at the École supérieure de ballet.
