We are pleased to announce that our research center, HUPR, now has its own website: hupr.ca.

HUPR (the NCS Research Center) explores human performance at the crossroads of performing arts and science. Their work spans biomechanics, the neuroscience of creativity, injury prevention and return to practice, as well as immersive technologies (motion capture, AI, and VR). They are also developing a data-driven pedagogy to better equip researchers, artists, and educators.

What you’ll find on the new site:

  • Projects: an overview of ongoing and completed research at the intersection of art and science.
  • The Team: researchers, artists, and collaborators passionately driving HUPR’s vision.
  • Partners: institutions and organizations that support their innovations.
  • News & Resources: stay up to date on publications, events, and discoveries.

This new site is designed as a true digital showcase, a space where knowledge, collaboration, and innovation converge.

Discover it now: hupr.ca
