Workshop-meeting with the National Circus School

The National Circus School opens its doors to young people aged 9 to 17 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Give your child a unique experience to perfect their acrobatics, explore their creativity in dance, and discover what goes on behind the scenes of this exceptional school. It’s the perfect opportunity to talk to the teachers and the next generation of artists , and maybe even help your child find his or her destiny!

This year’s preselections will take place in a completely new format:

• 10:30 a.m.: arrival of participants
• 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.: acrobatic workshop
• 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.: choreography workshop
• 12:40 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: short numbers lasting up to 1 minute 30 seconds presented by candidates (optional)
• 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.: discussion with teachers and college students

Participation criteria

• Be between 9 and 17 years of age
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Ability in dance, gymnastics, acrobatic sports or any other relevant discipline
