This recognition comes with a grant that will enable CRITAC to support the development of digital technologies within the Centre and to strengthen its research, training, and advisory capacities.
With this grant, CRITAC has established a position dedicated to managing the development of digital technologies. This support contributes to bolstering the Centre’s expertise in this area and advancing the performing arts sector through the convergence of arts, technology, and human performance. Given current challenges such as the uncertainty of international tours, digital solutions have become crucial for the industry. CRITAC addresses these challenges by developing technopedagogy skills, creating new immersive and virtual artistic experiences, optimizing artist performance, and facilitating access to necessary equipment.
This new position will accelerate research aimed at:
