The National Circus School (NCS) is proud to renew its participation in the St. John’s International Circus Fest, taking place from September 18 to 21, 2025, in Newfoundland and Labrador. This annual event brings together circus artists, students, and professionals to celebrate creativity and innovation in the circus arts.

The 2025 edition is led by Carole Demers, along with NCS graduate and festival co-founder Anahareo Doelle. Together, they carry forward an exceptional mission to shine a spotlight on circus arts across the Atlantic provinces and to make this vibrant art form accessible to the people of Newfoundland.

NCS’s participation at the 2025 Edition

Our students will have the honour of showcasing their talent in the Edge of the World Cabaret, the festival’s closing show on Sunday, September 21:

  • Léonie Salcines – Cyr Wheel
  • Raphaëlle Pelletier – Artistic Cycling

In addition to these student performances, NCS’s presence will be further highlighted by Nicolas Germaine, Acting Associate Director of Creation, who will lead an educational workshop on Researching & Creating Movements and will also present a duet with Marie-Ève Dicaire (balance and juggling).

This participation reflects NCS’s national impact, its commitment to supporting the next generation of circus artists in Canada, and the excellence and creativity of its alumni community.
