Dear community,
With hearts full of gratitude, the students, the Foundation and the entire team at the National Circus School would like to say a heartfelt thank you.
Our 2026 Benefit Evening was a true success, bringing together nearly 350 passionate guests around one fundamental mission: supporting the growth and development of the next generation of circus artists.
Thanks to your exceptional generosity and the unwavering commitment of our partners, we are extremely proud to announce that the wonderful amount of $150,000 was raised!
Performances that reflect our impact
Beyond the numbers, the evening reminded us of the incredible strength of our ecosystem.
One of the most memorable moments was the breathtaking performance by our graduating students. Met with great enthusiasm from the audience, their circus adaptation of Shakespeare’s renowned play Macbeth revealed the full extent of the talent, discipline and creativity of our next generation of artists.
The evening also celebrated the full scope of our educational mission: from the wonder brought by our first-year cohort to the touching performance by the young students of École des Rivières, which beautifully illustrated the concrete social impact of our Circus at School program.
A strong Montréal connection
We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Montréal, Ms. Soraya Martinez Ferrada. Her deep attachment to the circus community is well established, notably through the key role she played in the creation of TOHU and the Cité des arts du cirque, at the heart of our Saint-Michel neighbourhood.
Her presence was a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting higher arts education and of the extent to which circus is an essential part of Montréal’s identity.
Exceptional partners
Creating an unforgettable evening also means bringing wonder beyond the stage. The excitement was high during the draw for our door prizes!
We warmly thank Mr. Samuel Roy from Cirque du Soleil for tickets to ECHO, Mr. Anthony Amiel from Corbeil Appliances for the wine cellar, and Mr. Éric Lauzon from Air Canada for the flight tickets. Their generous contributions added a true touch of magic to the event.
This wonderful success would not have been possible without the essential commitment of our valued sponsors. Our deepest gratitude goes to:
Finally, a very special thank you to our dedicated volunteers, as well as to the members of the honorary committee and the board of directors. Your involvement makes a real difference in the visibility and development of our institution.
To all of you, donors, partners and members of the public, thank you for believing in our young artists. These funds have a direct impact on their daily lives, offering them unique opportunities to learn, push their limits and pursue their boldest ambitions.
