As part of the 37th edition of the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris in January, four graduates won top honors.
Anny Laplante (2011 graduate) won a gold medal with her partner Andreï Kalesnikau in Russian cradle, Hugues Sarra-Bournet (2002) with his Russian bar company Moi et les autres got a silver medal and the clown duo Les Expirés, Jérémy Vitupier et Antonin Wicky (2015), received a bronze medal. Additional prizes were awarded to these artists, but also to other graduates of the School who shone brillantly : Prix du public to Hugues Sarra-Bournet and the collective Moi et les Autres, the Trophée Annie Fratellini to Jérémy Vitupier et Antonin Wicky, the Prix spécial du jury to Dorian Lechaux (2015) et Ronan Duée (2015), monocycle duo, as well as the Prix du Club du Cirque to Julien Sillau (2009) and his partner in Chinese pole.
